We’re planning a camping trip and needed another headlamp. With perfect timing, I was offered a discount on the BoldBrite Headlamp in exchange for a review. It’s already proven useful for finding things in the garage.

The BoldBrite headlamp has a 120 lumen super bright LED. There’s a button on top of the light to turn it on, off, and cycles through the different options: bright, normal, red, blinking red, and off.
It has one adjustable reflective strap that goes around your head. It fits me snugly (but comfortably) on the loosest setting. The strap stretches, so it will also fit larger heads (though I wouldn’t classify my head as notably small). It can also be adjusted to fit a child’s head. My 4-year-old wanted to claim it as soon as he saw it.
The angle of the light can be adjusted to 4 different positions, from straight forward to 45 degrees downward. The pictures below show the furthest position downward. If you needed the light to shine upward, you could wear it upside down.
It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t dig into my head. The forehead panel is curved to fit your forehead. I have another headlamp with a rechargeable battery, but it sacrifices comfort due to the battery pack and the extra weight. This one requires 3 AAA batteries (included), making it lightweight and comfortable. It’s also waterproof, though I have not tested that feature.
