I’m doing my holiday shopping now, and I put together this gift guide for kids. These are all toys that are great for a wide range of ages. We have most of them, but a few are on our wish lists.

BrickLoot

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids - A Wandering VineBrickLoot is a LEGO subscription box that delivers custom LEGO kits, LEGO mini-figures, light kits, accessories, exclusive Brick Loot sets and more. You can currently get 12% off through 11/30/16.

Ozobot

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids - A Wandering Vine

Ozobot is a little robot toy that helps kids learn coding. Kids can create programs for the robot to follow by drawing lines and commands based on color sequences. Read more about it in my post here.

Melissa & Doug

I can’t just pick one thing from Melissa & Doug. From dress-up costumes to art sets, they have pretty much everything for imaginative play, arts & crafts, and learning.

Cozmo

Cozmo is on my son’s wish list. If you watch the video on the listing, it looks adorable and so fun!

Board Games

Board Games are a wonderful way for families to get together and have fun. Kids can also learn a lot from playing games, such as listening, counting, problem-solving, and strategy. One of our favorites for younger kids is The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game. It teaches colors, hand-eye coordination, turn-taking, and more.

EQtainment

EQtainment created a board game, book, plush toy, and other activities that help kids learn emotional intelligence skills. My kids love it and I love what it teaches them. Read my review here.

Tegu Blocks

Tegu Blocks are sustainably-sourced magnetic wooden blocks. I ordered a couple travel sets that come in little pouches for stocking stuffers – perfect for restaurants and airplanes!

Mini Trampoline

This mini trampoline is a huge hit in our house. My toddler gets a big grin on her face when she jumps on it. My kindergartener loves it, too.

Wheely Bug

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids - A Wandering Vine

My daughter rides her Wheely Bug around the house with the biggest grin on her face. We originally got it for our son when he was a toddler, but never got into it. My daughter absolutely loves it, though. Of course, my son likes it now that she does. We ordered a large one for him to use now.

Butterfly Wings

Holiday Gift Guide for Kids - A Wandering Vine

My kids run around wearing butterfly wings every time we go to the local children’s museum, so my mom got them each their own pair. They don’t have wire, so they flutter when the kids run. There is a little loop on each side for fingers so they can spread their wings.

There are some more ideas in this post. Stay tuned for non-toy gifts that kids will actually love!

What’s on your kids’ wish lists this year?
