Space-Saving Hangers

My closet space is at a premium, so space saving hangers are very appealing. I’ve managed to pare my wardrobe down to what will fit in my closet, and the Jeronic Black Velvet Hangers (50-Pack) made a huge difference in that endeavor. They really do take up less space. I used them for my dresses, and they are less crammed together now (pardon the terrible lighting in my closet):

I love the uniform look they bring to my closet, too. It’s very visually appealing and looks more organized. It’s amazing how much peace it brings me to look at an organized closet (but maybe that’s just me!).

These hangers work for every kind of top or dress, so I don’t have to look for the right hanger for a particular garment. The velvet keeps my dresses from falling off, the notches keep spaghetti straps in place, and the curved corners protect the shape of sweater dresses and other stretchy materials without creating weird bumps in the shoulders.

The hook swivels around, so I don’t have to worry about which direction I need to hang things. They’re strong and sturdy enough to hold thicker sweaters and dresses. The set includes a small tie hanger as a bonus, which I’m using for scarves.

The box says to rinse with water first to remove any fuzz so it doesn’t end up on your clothes. This is an extra step that may cause procrastination in switching over to these hangers (if you’re like me). I skipped this step because I’d probably never get around to using the hangers otherwise. I haven’t had any issues with fuzz, fortunately, but it’s something to be aware of.

The hangers have made my closet more organized and roomy. I was also able to purge a few dresses while switching hangers over. Check them out on Amazon here.

I received this product for free for testing and reviewing. I received no other compensation for my review, and all opinions are my own.

Thanks so much for the post! We recently moved, and, naturally, my new closet isn’t identical to my last one. These will be so great as I have so many garments that need hanging.

I had the same problem! We moved a year ago, and my closet is so much smaller now.

I love my relatively new wire hangers, I’m never going back to regular ones. That unfortunately means more clothes shopping to fill my closet.
