A Wandering Vine

My son love sea creatures, and tide pools are a great way to see some. You can often find sea stars, sea urchins, sea anemones, crabs, abalones, barnacles, and mussels. It’s fun to just explore, and it’s a great learning experience.

If you don’t have tide pools near you, another option is an aquarium. They have touch tanks with sea stars, sea anemones, etc. We have to make sure the kids are gentle (which requires guiding their hands when they’re toddlers), but it’s so fun to see.

Have you been to tide pools? What animals did you see?

I would love to go to a tide pool. Barnacles looks pretty weird, I would love to see some close up.
