A Wandering Vine

When we lived in Tennessee, we took our son on a few underground tours, including The Lost Sea Adventure. Different parts of the country offer different types of underground tours. You can see caves, bats, bodies of water, etc.

We’ve also done several underground tours while on vacation. The pictures are from our trip to Turkey last year. My son was 3, and he had fun exploring the underground city with his headlamp.

Have you been underground? What did you see?

I live in Georgia and have just recently gotten into checking out cave tours and the like. They are a lot of fun! I’ll have to check out The Lost Sea Adventure in TN. Sounds like fun! 🙂

I’ve been to the Jeita Grotto in Lebanon as a child, the only underground tour that I can remember taking. It was amazing, my first exposure to stalactites and stalagmites, still remember the thrill!
Visiting from the A-Z all the best for the rest of the posts,

I took my kids last year to Natural Bridge Caverns (near San Antonio, TX) but neither were a fan of being underground.

I don’t think I’ve ever been underground other than in a building.

I’ve been through a couple of underground caves as a kid. It was fun until they made us kids crawl through a little because it would be “fun”. It wasn’t fun at all.
