O is for: Obstacle Course - A Wandering Vine #AtoZChallenge

We visited family in Florida last month, and discovered an awesome aerial obstacle course for kids (ages 4 and up) at the Brevard Zoo. The course has tightropes, swinging boards, logs, and other things high above the ground to get across. It ends with a zipline. It’s all very safe, with a harness and caribiners to keep the kids from falling. I was seriously impressed. I could see how empowered he felt by doing it. Such an amazing thing to watch.

He loved it so much that I took him to another one at the zoo in Orlando. I was hoping to find one near our home in California, but sadly there isn’t one for young kids. We’ll just have to take him back whenever we visit Florida, or anywhere else that has one.

Is there one near you? Have you been?

What a neat idea for kids! I think it would be fun to have one for adults too. Do you make much money on having ads on your blog? Just wondering… It seems to look a bit commercial but I like your posts so I’ll keep coming back. Just wondered if it was worth it. Found you through the A to Z Challenge. http://www.dianeweidenbenner.com

There were some at a the local park we took our kids to.
Our youngest loved them. Feels like so long ago! (they are teenagers now!)

Oh how I wish they had blogs, when I was a young mommy. Visiting from the A-Z challenge.

That looks amazing. So much fun.

I would like to try an adult obstacle course sometime, not to brag about it to my friends, but to experience something new.
